ABOUT RUBEN KUMMER
I am currently working as Assistant Manager in Consulting at KPMG Germany Technology Transformation. In my role I am focusing on ServiceNow implementation and customization projects. Here I am heavily involved in developing custom solutions, which includes aspects of multiple ServiceNow modules like IT Service Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Risk Management or Performance Analytics. From a functional perspective I am furthermore involved with the realization of the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)(Regulation (EU) 2022/2554). I have had especially detailed touchpoints with the DORA mandated ICT-incident management requirements as well as the information register.Previously I have obtained a M.Sc. degree in Global Business at the University of Göttingen in 2023. Furthermore,I have achieved a B.Sc. degree in Economics and Business Administration with a major in Finance & Accounting in 2021 at Goethe University in Frankfurt.I have also gained valuable international experience through studying abroad in China, at Beijing Normal University in 2019 and Nanjing University in 2022 (remote). Additionally, I have worked as an intern and working student at PwC Germany in the restructuring advisory and audit service lines. I am proud that I have been recognized for my academic achievements with several awards, including the China Scholarship Council Governmental Scholarship, the State Scholarship of Lower Saxony, and the Glemser Foundation for Future Excellency award.
