Responsible for all sourcing and purchasing for all company owned brands. Travel to various factories / countries to follow up on current production and new product development. Identify new denim fabrics together with design for market presentation. Manufacturer of men\'s, women\'s, boys private label and branded apparel; Responsible for production of all products: mainly sport and dress shirts, but also other products, including knits, shorts, jackets, wind shirts.Cost all seasonal lines, as well as special customer cost requests.Place orders and negotiate prices with overseas offices; and agents.Heavy daily communication with the overseas offices and agents, as well as interoffice personnel.Issue and maintain all fabric and garment purchase orders.Liaison between Design, Merchandising and overseas offices.Responsibilities Included-Quoting price to customer and negotiation. Developing new samples as per buyer instruction and getting the approval on sample garments from customer. Booking fabrics and accessories and time-to- time communicating with these suppliers. Follow up the production efficiency report, production program and monitoring the production Schedule. Communicating with customer/ buyer for any sorts of requirement. Follow up the shipment schedule. Communicating with Store as well as Shipping dept. for getting the fabrics/ material statusFollow up the Import / Export L/C and Shipment. Follow up the Production & Quality in the factory. Preparing the Inventory for fabrics & accessories and set up Production Schedule. Preparing the Reports Proactively analyzed and problem solved to prevent or resolve issues which minimized negative impacts on product quality, cost and delivery.Guarantee the proper daily communication with all vendorsSourcingTravel Research new trendsPrepare tech packsNegotiate prices and delivery datesEnsure calendars are followed to maintain a proper supply chainProduct development follow-up
