I lead a group of product managers at Bloomberg to design and build company analytics tools for the Bloomberg Terminal, API and Enterprise. This includes flagship applications on Bloomberg such as: Financial Analysis (FA), Equity Des (DES), Analyst Recommendations (ANR), Estimates (EEO), Models (MODL), and feeding company data into downstream applications. The remit of the group was expanded in Jan \'22 to look at supply chain analysis and analyzing alternative data in the context of company financial data. It has now been further expanded in Dec \'23 to include classifications, peers and physical assets.My group focuses on solving client problems. This requires tracking the evolution of a data point from data processing, to database and data taxonomy, to API syntax design, to front-end applications as we bring new products to market. In this process we are increasingly leveraging semantic modelling and knowledge graphs as we map company relationships. We are also heavily investing in AI techniques and LLMs for both data extraction and providing clients with interfaces to use the data. We product manage fourteen engineering teams (including dedicated ENG AI teams). We also coordinate-Data Operations: providing business management to ensure that data is processed in a timely and accurate manner -Data Contributions: managing relationships with brokers, IRPs, and third-party data providers, to ensure we have the content clients need to make investment decisions -Sales, Marketing and UX: ensuring our deliverables have genuine market impact and are responsive to client feedback
