I have served as the conference track chair for the AIB-SE chapter conference for several years and was honored to receive the Best Paper Award in 2019. Recently, I was part of the IT Uniqueness Task Force 2.0 for the Academy of International Business in 2021. I am passionate about expanding the international business academic community and believe that research and teaching in this field are vital for promoting global sustainability. In 2024, we had 83 papers/panels and 180 registrants from 28 countries. In 2025, we had over 100 submissions and registrants from 26 countries.

ABOUT RU-SHIUN LIOU
Dr. Liou’s research focuses on emerging-market firms’ cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as cross-cultural management. Her recent publication outlets include Journal of World Business, International Marketing Review, and International Business Review. She has been reviewing papers and presenting research at international organizations, such as the Academy of Management and Academy of International Business. Prior to the Ph.D. studies, she has work experience in retailing, consulting, and import/export business. Armed with several years of industrial experience, she is passionate about applying management theories to understand real-world business scenarios and continues researching and sharing her research findings with her students. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the nature hiking trails and beaches with her kids in the sunshine Florida!
