Position OverviewThe Strategic Sourcing Manager leads sourcing, category, and procurement strategies for power & motion and mechanical categories. This role focuses on cost optimization, supplier performance, and operational efficiency while ensuring a resilient supply chain.Essential Job Functions•Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement strategies to drive cost reduction, enhance supplier performance, and improve efficiency.•Analyze total spend, pricing structures, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement decisions.•Create category roadmaps, engage new suppliers, and support product development initiatives.•Implement risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain constraints and ensure business continuity.•Manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) to minimize cost impacts while ensuring material availability.•Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with Supplier Quality and Engineering to drive continuous improvement.•Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to achieve both short-term savings and long-term strategic goals.•Conduct RFQs/RFPs/RFIs, negotiate contracts, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and procurement objectives.•Develop and manage KPIs and performance dashboards to measure supplier performance and procurement success.•Execute CAPEX sourcing strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
