ABOUT RICHARD SZABO

In the last four years led the implementation of LoLa. Lola is a low latency middleware for autonomous driving. Designed domain-specific languages for modeling data pipelines for sensor data processing, sensor interface abstraction, and communication interface description. Implemented scalable operating system independent build system and component packaging. Created automated software delivery pipeline with scalable Continous Integration and delivery. Integrated into the framework HW accelerators using Xilinx Utlrascale+ FPGA. Good knowledge of 3G/LTE mobile protocol stack especially deep in UMTS and LTE access stratum. Designed, bugged user plain data delivery from L1 till in embedded real-time OS environment for mobile platforms. Carried out a feasibility study, design, and implementation of LTE control plane protocol stack software framework with c++ compile-time state machines using boost MPL, MSM libraries on embedded HW. Defined, Designed, Implemented protocol stack API for R&S measurement equipment. Designed, implemented debugged (on the host as well as on target) PDCP memory management with QoS handling for HSDPA and HSUPA. HW debugging knowledge on ARM-based architectures. Specially Lauterbach TRACE32 debugger and ETM backtrace for real-time debugging on target. Integrated a complete DM protocol stack on Broadcom\'s L1 modem DSP connected to Infineon BB microcontroller based on ARM architecture. Did UMTS FDD L1 debugging for HW integration. Gain Knowledge of UMTS live NWs setup architecture and RRC behavior. Specialties: UMTS: HSDPA, HSUPA, RRC, PDCP, MAC, NAS LTE: Layer1 Procedures, MAC / L2 resource management, RRC procedures, and EPS NAS IP header compression. User plain data flow control. Real-time Os-es Embedded C and C++ design and implementation Procol stack framework design and implementation Modem design and implementation System design and implementation Boost c++ libraries especially compile time aspects.
