The first five years, I gained operation and maintenance experience at Chevron’s Sundown enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project. My ambition led me to return to academia to complete my engineering degrees and bring my academic goals to fruition. The experience learning from the different perspectives and expertise of engineers and scientists has better prepared me for the future. I am confident in my current role and will continue to strive through hard work and dedication.There have been times in life where I have come across a brick wall, but I have never let it stand in the way of my success.
