Senior Manager, Change, Fibre Build @Openreach

Responsibilities: • Accountable for multiple change and communication functions to deliver change into the Fibre Build organisation. An organisation of people delivering one of the largest infrastructure build programmes in the UK. Investing c.£12bn over 5 years to build fibre broadband to 25m homes across the UK by December 2026. • Change being directed from various transformation workstreams, including two key strategic transformation initiatives between Openreach and Accenture, to accelerate delivery throughput while reducing unit cost. • Held a key leadership role, executing change delivery across scope including agile system development and process enhancements, new app development, waterfall system development deployment, new data and MIS system implementation, engineering process redesign, organisational design and reorganisation, as well as 3rd party organisational impacting operational and commercial changes. Key accomplishments: • Introduced new ways of working through partnership with key stakeholders, developing clear accountability through business partnering change leads with regional operational directors, development of relationships, attainment of feedback, and improvement of approach. • Leveraged change management approach with implementation of new change toolkit to offer change of consistent quality and application of ADKAR principles for improving effectiveness of change adoption. • Led the standardisation, deployment and embedding of change activities for the strategically critical Fibre Build organisation of people within Openreach, supported by 11 3rd party engineering partner organisations. • Utilised communications channels to internal stakeholders as part of communications campaigns, including Workplace, videos, microsites, and infographics to improve self-serve opportunity to elevate traditional verbal and written change briefings.
