I currently lead a team of architects within the Liberty Global Platform Technology organisation responsible for the Entertainment Platforms. The team is responsible for the architecture and technical strategy of the technology platforms that provide Liberty Globals market leading consumer video services. The entertainment platform contains a wide variety of technologies to support the delivery of video service (both to STB and non-managed multiscreen devices). This includes traditional headend processing systems such as encoding, transcoding, multiplexing, CAS, & SI generation and multiscreen transcoding packaging and DRM systems. Back office systems performing metadata aggregation, user personalisation & the integration of the video service platforms with the network infrastructure and external systems.

I currently lead a team of architects within the Liberty Global Technology and Innovation organisation responsible for End to End video architecture.The End to End architecture team produce high level architectures to support product development, as well as dealing with capacity expansion, obsolescence and technology improvements, platform economics, policies and guidelines for the Liberty Global technology estate. We also work very closely with the Technology strategy team to produce the long term video Strategy & roadmaps, long range budge plans.
