I was lucky to be involved in a variety of technical and commercial roles in the following areas: • LAN and WAN design and support (for all shapes and sizes of customer networks) • DDoS mitigation design / DDoS testing • Deployment, Operation, & Technical management of customer networks • Troubleshooting of switching and routing issues • Network and Access Security I (still) have high ideals of customer support and have always been a firm believer that excellent support helps win and, more importantly, retain customers.I defined service or product requirements to meet customer demand or strategic desire, and then lead the work to successfully build, deliver, and support that need. I kept my ability to pitch in when needed, and I had the confidence to build and manage capable, enthusiastic, and empowered teams.In many ways, I spent much of my time as a \'business process engineer\' working across all business functions, making sure that what we did is sane, documented, and customer focused.Through the years I have had senior management or board level experience of private, public, and mutual organisational structure, financial procedures, and management. I regularly conducted commercial and legal negotiation for technical services from suppliers and to customers/partners.Commercially aware, financially prudent, technically strong manager (Cisco Trusted Technical Advisor (Security)/ Cisco Advanced Security Field Specialist / CQS Wireless LAN Design / CCNP / CCDP / CCSP / CCIP / CXFS / CCNA Voice - plenty of other vendor technical certifications as well.). ISTJ, but that probably isn\'t a surprise.
