As a Senior Research Scientist and Senior Data Science Strategist at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, I direct enterprise-scale AI R&D, cloud modernization, and federal coordination efforts that shape the future of scientific discovery.AI Strategy & Foundational Models I architected NASA OCSDO’s AI Strategy for Science, guiding the program’s approach to artificial intelligence. My focus is on delivering pathfinder foundation models that maintain NASA’s leadership in the field. Key contributions include-Developing foundational models such as Prithvi-EO (Earth Observation), Prithvi-WxC (Weather/Climate), and Surya Helio FM (Heliophysics)- Designing frameworks like Accelerated Knowledge Discovery- Implementing AI Agentic SDKs to position AI agents as active collaborators in scientific inquiry.Program Leadership & Innovation I established and expanded the Inter-Agency Implementation and Advanced Concepts Team (IMPACT) into a nationally recognized R&D program. By cultivating a culture of rapid innovation, I built a portfolio of projects across Earth and space science initiatives. Additionally, I directed the NASA Satellite Needs Working Group Management Office, aligning Earth observation capabilities with federal agency requirements through strategic stakeholder engagement.Open Science & Strategic Partnerships As a vocal advocate for open science and robust data infrastructure, I act as a \"boundary spanner\" between government, academia, and industry.
