As Engineering Leader of the Compliance team, I lead the engineering teams that create products and services in the money transfer compliance domain. This entails the development and enrichment of compliance platform that helps Western Union in implementing anti-money laundering (AML) programs such as Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Agent (KYA), Sanctions and PEP Screening, Regulatory Reporting, and Case Management.I lead multiple cross-functional teams of Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, and Engineers (100+ individuals) in terms of both technology and people. I contribute to the teams\' long-term road map definition, oversee daily delivery, drive the engineering implementation of the road map, and assist shape the strategic direction. Coaching and mentoring architects, and engineering managers is another crucial component of my present role, which helps me to build an efficient team with the right work culture.
