About Roz Blumenthal
I\'ve had a 20-year successful career in cancer research as Director of Tumor Biology at the Garden State Center (NIH funding, 82 publications from my research, mentoring graduate students and post-docs, teaching undergraduate and graduate students and serving as a full member on numerous study sections (NIH, DOD, Susan Komen, CABCRP). In 2003, I decided it was time for a change. I began freelance medical writing and in 2005, I took a position in medical communications and then in professional healthcare advertising, and most recently in pharmaceutical sales force training working on established accounts and on new business development. I\'ve worked on many different brands across virtually all therapeutic areas. I love hematology/oncology and immunology, but my real passion is for rare and ultra-rare/ orphan diseases.
