ABOUT ROZA SELIMYAN

Transformational leader, award-winning scholar, and speaker with over 20 years of experience spanning biomedical science, education, and organizational leadership. Known for centering integrity and well-being in both learning environments and organizational culture, and for advancing equity in education and the workplace.I’ve lived and worked in Armenia, Germany, and the United States – three countries with profoundly different histories, systems, and cultural rhythms. That lived diversity has shaped how I lead: with clarity, empathy, and a strong capacity to navigate complexity. It’s given me the insight to build trust across cultures, create belonging in diverse communities, and bring people together around shared purpose. This foundation has fueled a deep commitment to healing, meaningful impact, and systemic reform—especially in how we teach, lead, and design institutions. With a master’s in genetics, a PhD in molecular biology, and a career bridging science and education, I’ve led academic affairs, designed student-centered programs, and mentored hundreds of aspiring physicians and scientists, as well as faculty across all career stages. As a three-time cancer survivor, I lead with a lived understanding of how systems can fall short—and how much people need to feel seen, supported, and empowered. This perspective drives my mission to embed well-being and integrity into every layer of leadership and to advance a model of transformational leadership that uplifts people and holds systems to higher standards.I am a keynote and invited speaker on science, health, education, and leadership – engaging diverse audiences across the globe with clarity, depth, and impact. Whether in the classroom, on stage, or inside institutions, I work to create sustainable environments where people can thrive—and where systems embody the values they were created to uphold.
