Responsible for ensuring that all products meet overall Estee Lauder quality standards within and above compliance to local and global regulations, for products manufactured by Estee Lauder Canada plants and imported products.• Provide oversight of Raw Material testing, Physical and Chemical Analysis, Microbiology and Colour Testing Laboratories.• Assure that all laboratories meet GMP requirements to adhere to Health Canada and FDA regulations, and all applicable markets in which the relevant Estee Lauder products are marketed.• Develop and track KPIs to ensure optimal test turnaround time to support on-time release of product. Develop and support QC strategy and objectives to meet the goals of the Corporate QA and Canadian operations.• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by supporting and promoting site and QC team initiatives• Provide interface and leadership between QA, Planning, R&D, Technical Services, Marketing, Product Development and Packaging for all brands produced in Canada.• Manage budgetary controls for QC groups; monitor spending and control costs by effectiveutilization of personnel and equipment• Promote and develops effective relationships with suppliers.• Work as a lead to resolve, to improve and maintain the quality of the materials manufactured and shipped by suppliers to multiple Estee Lauder Canada locations.
