I joined the college persistence team to support HVAHS Class of 2019 alumni in college: Track and share data findings with all pertinent stakeholders. Plan, coordinate and provide logistical support for Alumni events.\\\\n• Maintain monthly communication with a HVAH Class of 2019 alumni via email, social media websites, phone, and in-person meetings as they adjust to the demands of freshman year, choose their courses, select their majors, and seek internships and jobs.\\\\n• Help students identify and cultivate relationships with key individuals at colleges (ex. admissions office, financial aid office, student supportive services) to promote alumni success by supporting college transition, persistence, and retention.\\\\n• Collect anecdotal data on any issue’s Alumni may be facing and assisting with solutions to these problems and track via Salesforce.\\\\n• Update and maintain HVAH’s College Databases by inputting and tracking academics, matriculation and persistence information (including GPA and Credits Accumulated) of all HVAHS Class of 2019 alumni in their first and second year in college in Salesforce.\\\\n• Ensure accurate contact information is maintained in database.\\\\n• Share data and relevant success stories, periodically, with key stakeholders.\\\\n• Coordinate a Homecoming/Thanksgiving Dinner to spot check and assess how students are progressing in their first semester.\\\\n• Send Alumni Care Packages to students during the fall of their freshman year.\\\\n• Organize and host the Winter Alumni Luncheon for recent grads to share their experiences with current seniors and juniors.\\\\n• Assist with transfer process to a 4‐year college from a community college\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
