About Jyoti Roy
I have varied experience across equity products including Direct Equities, Equity MF and Equity F&O and portfolio management. I also have in depth experience in analyzing macro economic parameters based on which overall equity portfolio strategy is defined.I have in depth and over 14 years of experience in portfolio management and one of my key responsibility across all previous organisations has been constructing and successfully running the equity portfolios. My key responsibility is to decide on overall portfolio allocation strategy across sectors and market capitalization based on which I have to generate ideas for inclusion in the portfolios.I also have indepth experience as an equity research analyst and have tracked companies across sectors and market caps to come out with stock ideas for investment purpose. Some of the sectors which i have covered include Auto, Banking, IT, Oil & Gas, Consumer discretionary & staples, Capital goods & engineering.I have also worked extensively on equities MF (both India onshore and international funds). Funds are selected based on superior risk adjusted returns as measured by various statistical parameters including mean returns, volatility, and Information ratio. Well versed in IT systems and worked on SAP platform for almost 2 years prior to completing my Post Graduation.Specialties: Financial Modelling - quick as well as in depth, Relative\\Comparative and Absolute Valuations, Event Impact Analysis, Economic Analysis, and Industry Research across sectors. Technical analysis including Elliott wave and Neo wave analysis. MF research - defining quantitative model for determining superior risk adjusted returns. Portfolio Analysis and Management - Construction & maintainance of equity stock portfolio. Based on overall macro economic and sector analysis stocks are regularly added and removed from the portfolio with a view to generate alpha over market returns while reducing portfolio volatility.
