As a founding member and commercialization officer of Nascent Technologies, a battery startup in the Philippines, I have helped lead the technical scoping and financial modeling of emerging battery chemistries, including lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and lithium-sulfur systems. I conducted techno-economic analyses using BatPaC to assess how manufacturing steps—such as electrode mixing, coating, and drying—affect cell cost and feasibility. Previously, I also contributed to materials development for battery anodes and supported pitch development and roadmap planning for early-stage commercialization.
