Help SpaceX achieve its long-term goal of creating the world’s first fully automated launch system.Coordinate with vehicle engineers to design and develop propellant and pressurant systems required to launch the vehicle. The systems include liquid oxygen, RP-1, liquid methane, liquid nitrogen, gaseous helium, gaseous nitrogen, hydraulics, water, and environmental control systems.Lead the analytical design of launchpad fluid systems for Starship.Use fluid dynamic, thermodynamic, and heat transfer scientific knowledge as required to design tubing and piping systems of all sizes.Complete all design and drafting of fluid schematics.Complete CAD and create drawing packages to enable the construction of fluid systems.Select and provide detailed specifications for the purchase of components; interact with vendors to resolve component technical issues.Assist technicians with fabrication and commissioning of fluid systems.Assist operators in developing concepts of operation and control logic.
