Had the privilege to serve on active duty in the U. S Army for 22 years followed by 12 years as a Dept. of the Army civilian- Fields of experience include special operations, pol-mil affairs, leadership, decision-making, joint planning and operations, counter-terrorism, training and program management, maintenance management, personnel management, & resource management for the United States Military- 10+ years as a foreign area officer with special emphasis on the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council region; wide experience working with foreign cultures and sensitive to the way cultural differences affect bilateral relations and assistance efforts- In-depth knowledge of the security assistance and defense cooperation process, to include funding, budgeting and execution of Foreign Military Financing & Sales, International Military Education & Training, Humanitarian Assistance, Mil-to-Mil engagement activities, and development of Regional Engagement and Country Cooperation Plans- Top performer with demonstrated capability of leading/serving in high-performing staff organizations to include crisis action and operational planning teams- Experienced and comfortable conveying senior policy and command priorities to senior and multinational audiences; excellent oral and written communication skills- Native speaker in German, conversationally fluent in French- Advanced user of all applicable major software suites, including Microsoft Office, Defense Messaging System (DMS), Defense Travel System (DTS) and the Task Management Tool (TMT).
