ABOUT ROY SPITZ

Roy SPIZ has been practicing as an attorney-at-law in Nice (France) since 1991, and is bilingual English French (English mother-tongue, long standing working experience in English). He is one of the 80 elected members of the French National Bar Council, a member of the Board of the National Union of Independent Professionals (UNAPL), Past President and Honorary President of the Confédération Nationale des Avocats. He teaches at Master level at the Law Faculty of the University of Nice Côte d’Azur, and has been a speaker at a number of Conferences over the past years. His activity covers both litigation and non-judicial legal work. Roy holds certificates of specialization in: • Law of warranties, guarantees, and enforcement of judgements (including auctioning of real estate, defending against them, and acquiring at auctions); and in • Commercial Law, and competition law. However, his practice is much wider and covers as well: • civil litigation, family law and litigation, commercial litigation and insolvency procedures, as well as private international law • real estate law, and disputes with building managers • white collar criminal law • law of contracts and corporate law • mediation and dispute resolution (trained level 2 of Collaborative Law). Roy’s clientele is composed of individuals (French and foreign), independent professionals (regulated and non-regulated), small and medium businesses (French and foreign).
