ABOUT ROY SILVA

I have spent a majority of my life living in the Chicagoland area where I attended Benet Academy. While there I was involved in Student Government and the National Honors Society. These experiences helped me find a passion for tackling big problems and finding solutions that are practical and effective. This led me to choose the majors of Finance and Law, Ethics, and Decision-Making at the Kelley School of Business. Here I have developed a unique skill set that merges financial analysis with an understanding of the legal system. My involvement in the Legal Studies Club as President has further developed my interest in corporate law and advocacy for underrepresented communities in the legal and business fields.Beyond my academic pursuits, I have a passion for building computers, modifying cars, and learning about space and ancient history. These hobbies have taught me the value of attention to detail and the importance of understanding complex systems. Additionally, I have a strong interest in communication strategies, as I believe effective communication is key to success in any field. The ability to truly connect with others and understand their needs and ideas is essential in developing lasting relationships and achieving common goals.As a Latino student and heritage Spanish speaker, I am dedicated to breaking down language barriers and fostering meaningful connections with individuals from all walks of life. I am proud to bring my cultural background to my work and believe in the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
