Oversee the editorial voice and direction of EcoParent and Elevate magazines, both published by EcoParent inc.Responsibilities:• Shape the editorial vision for the brand as a whole, in collaboration with the digital editor• Prepare editorial calendars/plans for both EcoParent magazine (4 issues per year) and Elevate magazine (6 issues per year)• Develop story ideas in collaboration with contributors• Recruit and manage a stable of writers for both titles• Administer editorial/contributor contracts• Assign articles to writers• Co-ordinate fact-checking, copy editing, and proofreading of all articles• Prepare both print and digital versions of articles appearing in print magazines• Manage and enforce deadlines for editing and design• Write promotional and marketing material for both titles as needed• Manage editorial budget• Manage temporary staff and interns, as necessary
