About Roy Leahy
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Roy Leahy has spent his entire 35 year career in the Commercial Flooring Industry. Roy started out with a part time job as a carpet installer while attending college at The Ohio State University. In 1986, Roy was hired as a project manager by the Wilson Floor Company, a nationally recognized full-service commercial flooring contractor in Columbus. In 1991 Roy was instrumental in leading the commercial floor maintenance division of Wilson’s grow into a national leader in the industry. In 1996 Wilson’s was purchased by DuPont Flooring Systems and Roy became a Branch Manager and then a Regional Maintenance Manager. Today as Legacy Maintenance Services, LLC, Roy is an owner President/COO of a commercial floor maintenance and janitorial business that services over square feet annually. Roy has served on the local BOMA board and when not working, enjoys boating and fishing on Lake Erie
