About Roy Butler
Roy Butler is the Mission Assurance Manager for the ISS Cold Atom Lab, NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar, SPHEREx all-sky spectrophotometric survey, Soil Moisture Active-Passive observatory, and (occasionally) MSL Curiosity rover. He previously worked as Systems Payload Engineer on the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter mission, as well as flight testbed and ground data systems work. He holds degrees in Space Systems Engineering and Philosophy. He was awarded the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal in 2008.
