ABOUT ROY BOUKIDJIAN

With over ten years of experience in infection prevention and patient safety, I lead the strategic planning and implementation of system-wide initiatives at CommonSpirit Health, one of the largest nonprofit healthcare systems in the US. I am a registered nurse with a master\'s degree in nursing leadership. As the interim system patient safety officer, I oversee the development and execution of policies, protocols, and programs that ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for our patients, staff, and communities. I also collaborate with other leaders and stakeholders across the organization to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. As the system vice president of infection prevention, I manage the infection prevention team and provide guidance and support to the regional and local infection prevention leaders and staff. I am passionate about challenging the status quo, learning new skills, and motivating others to achieve our shared goals.
