ABOUT ROXANN STAFFORD
Roxann Stafford brings together the worlds of social impact, entrepreneurship and design thinking. Her background in mechanical engineering, business, and psychology combines the analytical rigor and empathy necessary for sustainable systems design. Roxann is passionate about redefining the VC and entrepreneurship landscape so that it is more inclusive and responsive to global issues and opportunities. In her 15 year plus career, Roxann has advised and coached clients like HP, Target, the Kellogg Foundation, SK Telecom, PBS, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, USAID, DFAT, the World Bank, NASA, the Associated Press, along with US government innovation initiatives and numerous startups around the world. Her expertise in linking human needs with tech solutions has helped her clients develop robust strategies and successfully bring numerous products to market and initiatives to scale. Roxann has extensive international experience addressing big system problems in regions from the Pacific Islands to East Africa to the Caribbean, and cultivating opportunities for entrepreneurship to solve those issues. Her unique combination of an MBA, design strategy experience, together with cross-sector collaboration acumen has enabled her to develop skills that create effective and inclusive learning and doing communities.
