In 2026, The 519 will celebrate its 50th anniversary—a powerful milestone that invites us to honour the organization\'s legacy, uplift our communities, and envision a bold, inclusive future. Throughout 2026, The 519 will commemorate five decades of extraordinary impact and celebrate the vibrant communities that shape and sustain our work. Anniversary programming will be woven into the fabric of The 519’s existing services and marquee events, including our legendary Green Space Festival. We will also lead a series of community-based storytelling and archival initiatives that centre the voices and experiences of 2SLGBTQ+ communities, and share stories that honour our collective journey and deepen public understanding of our impact.
