My responsibilities include promoting and supporting the university, building and maintaining strong alumni and community relations which includes alumni and community events and outreach. I plan, organize and launch fundraising initiatives for Montana Western based on the university’s strategic plan. Other responsibilities include major gift solicitation, the annual fund drive, planned giving, special event planning, alumni and community relations. I create and implement a stewardship plan for donors and alumni and am responsible for daily management and oversight of foundation reports, funds, budget, audit and general accounting. Working closely and effectively with academic departments, admissions, marketing, athletics, university relations, conference & events, faculty, staff and foundation board members is critical to my position.
