Act as liaison for event planning to client. Select menus and bar packages for clients. Plan layout of seating, entertainment, buffet lines• Facilitate all Banquet Event Orders (BEO) weekly for both the front service staff as well as for the kitchen staff, making sure all menu details (special order items), any special requests (audio/visual) and floor layouts are noted • Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met. As needed during larger parties or busier season, work these events in a lead role and facilitate all points of the event(s) from set-up to tear-down• Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize company sponsored events.• Act as Goode Company liaison at offsite networking events. Participation in an association, non-profit or civic role as a representative on a continual bases to lead generate new and existing clients. Along with seeking new networking opportunities to attend or host as a private or semi-private client• Weekly, monthly and quarterly local outreach to key accounts, hotels and prospects. Including continual communication with area competitors to build referral trust and applicable pricing structures• Calculate Food & Beverage minimums and ensure they are adhered to• Coordinate event logistics, including registration and attendee tracking and pre- and post-event evaluations.• Monitor Local Store Marketing and promotions. Act as liaison from Event & Marketing department to ensure store is in line with corporate identity and implement any marketing materials as needed• Assist in promoting location through social networks personally and professionally as needed
