As an Assistant Estimator supporting the Pre-Construction Manager, I play a key role in the early phases of commercial construction projects. My responsibilities include detailed review and analysis of architectural and engineering drawings, project specifications, and scope documents to assist in accurate cost estimating. I help prepare comprehensive proposal and bid packages tailored to project requirements and deadlines.I regularly communicate with subcontractors and vendors to solicit bids, clarify scopes of work, and ensure competitive pricing and coverage across all trades. My role requires close coordination with project managers, architects, and internal stakeholders to gather and organize data for preliminary budgets and final estimates. I also support the tracking of bid submissions and maintained databases for subcontractor qualifications and historical pricing.This position strengthen my understanding of construction cost components, bid procedures, and preconstruction processes, while honing my organizational, communication, and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
