Language Instructor

As an English Language Instructor at EF School, I am responsible for teaching, testing and accessing English proficiency, level testing and classroom management. I teach of all levels of English (A1-C2), using curriculum across multiple levels and cover all general language skills, including Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening and Grammar. I provide instruction of specialize interest courses such as Business English, Test Preparation (Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, GMAT, SAT) and Cultural Appreciation. Classes consist of private 1-on-1 instruction, small 2-4 student groups and maximum 20 students in classroom setting. Organizational Responsibilities include maintaining accurate record keeping, evaluating and counseling students regarding academic performance and goals, incorporating feedback on classroom performance to ensure positive and meaningful student experience. I design classroom curriculum, support fellow instructors with teacher training. Additionally, I regularly present Culture Lecture Workshops to 80-100 students, which focuses on a cultural topic such as American history, a local festival, or an international holiday. I am specialized in Cambridge Exam preparation and especially trained in college level English/Proficiency level ESL (C2) instruction. I have been certified since 2008 and re-certify annually for Cambridge examiner credentials (ESOL), by providing year-round support to the Director of the Cambridge Program and examining multiple times a year for CPE, CAE and FCE exams at EF.
