Develops the Service program• Liaises with the Head of DofE sections to ensure DofE Volunteering Award criteria are met• Staffs activity slots as required. • Leads and guides 20 teachers running individual programs to meet the needs of the programmes ensuring Health and Safety measures are in place. • Supports outreach opportunities and one-off fundraising events for individuals and houses for local and international charities. • Arranges and deliver the Community Christmas Party. • Creates and manages the Service@Stowe budget• Ensure funds raised are held appropriately and passed on to the correct charities. • Monitors and evaluates activities and write reports and articles on the service programme for the Governors and marketing initiatives. • Plans and supports the Big Issue Day and Change Makers activities. • Works with the Head’s office to ensure Service achievements are considered for prizes and awardsAchievements• Increased afternoon activities programme from 15-19 involving 20 teachers and 200 pupils• Increased fundraising to circa £85k for various charities• Arranged an on-site volunteering opportunity with Willen-Hospice allowing the circa 100 DofE Bronze participants to meet their 12 weeks of volunteering obligation• Increased the Community Christmas party to 150 people attending with the State Dining Room full to capacity.• Built a substantial contact list of more than 40 leaders in the local community and further afield. The list includes Head teachers, Care homes, Housing Associations, Woodland volunteers, Age UK volunteers, Hospice Leaders, Hospital charity, Butterfly Conservation, National Trust and Grant Funding Foundation leaders, Street Child Patrons and more. Most recently, on a September 24 Jefcoate Foundation networking lunch I met another new set of 20+ charity contacts• These contacts have helped me create volunteering opportunities for over 700 pupils over 5 Changemaker community volunteering days.
