Hello! I\'m Rowan, the co-founder of Radbridge, where we develop decision-support tools and economic analysis to help government agencies, nonprofits, and private sector organizations invest in resilience and community health. Our work includes:1. Community Resilience and Benefit-Cost Analysis: We evaluate resilience and hazard mitigation projects using benefit-cost analysis to support project justification and grant applications. We also built the FEMA Subapplication Tool (think “TurboTax for FEMA grants”) to help streamline the application process and the GSI Impact Calculator (app.gsiimpacthub.org).2. Outdoor Recreation Economic Analytics: We use mobile location data and machine learning to estimate visitation, usage patterns, and the economic impact of parks and open space. We built the analytics dashboard Parkbeat to allow clients to explore their data interactively and export custom reports.3. Future Weather for Building and Data Center Modeling: We built the service at with academic partners to help engineers and modelers quickly and inexpensively simulate buildings and data centers under future conditions. The tool generates future weather (EPW format) and design conditions (DDY format).Previously I worked in the nonprofit sector for 12 years, where among other efforts, I led benefit-cost analyses to support more than $300 million in grant funding for resilience projects; helped the Federal Emergency Management Agency integrate ecosystem service and green infrastructure values into its Benefit-Cost Analysis Toolkit; and led a multi-year effort to effect changes to U.S. national accounting standards to better address natural assets.
