As Alan Kay said,\"The best way to predict the future is to invent it.\"At Partner, I lead our artificial intelligence initiatives.I have previously worked to grow technology startups across multiple industries including healthcare, finance, defense, machine learning, and mobile consumer applications. I\'ve worked as a leader and engineer across all parts of the software technical stack and experienced the challenges of growing a technology business, from B2C to B2B, from demo\'s to investors and building the technology for launching a new product to finding new opportunities for proven technology. Prior to my current role I was involved in Artificial Intelligence for the Defense Industry, leading the Autonomy effort at Black Sea, which made autonomous surface vessels, and later working on artificial intelligence for logistics for the defense industry.My experience also includes robotics and artificial intelligence research at Carnegie Mellon University, University of Maryland, and the Naval Research Laboratory, My focus there was on reinforcement learning for robotics and explainable reinforcement learning. I worked to create advanced robots and machines that are not only intelligent, but which showcase transparency in their reasoning. I hoped that these efforts facilitate increased AI-human collaboration and integration.
