Production professional focused on top-tier Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines since 2010. Production manager 20••••23 in charge of daily operations for a mid-sized boutique label. Managed a crew of four year-round and hired approx. 10 interns each vintage. Oversaw all aspects of fine wine production from receiving, sorting and fermentation management to barrel work, blending and bottling. Previously spent 14 years in Austin working wine retail as a manager & buyer for Central Market & Twin Liquors, a route salesman for Ambiente and a beverage program director for Ranch 616. Since 1996, has presented thousands of bottles to many tens of thousands of people and conducted hundreds of tutored tastings & classes for the public while in retail and restaurants as well as multi-year stints conducting monthly wine events for KGSR and Vinson & Elkins LLP. My range of experience making and selling wine gives me a worldly perspective and palate. My time in Sonoma has augmented a keen appreciation for cool-climate wines. My time working for James Hall (and previously for Adam & Dianna Lee @ Siduri) has taught me the immeasurable value of good mentors. Certified Specialist of Wine since 1998. Winner of season one of \"The WineMakers\"​ airing in syndication on PBS. The \"Winner\'s Blend\"​ selected 7/11 Main Selection by the Wine Of The Month Club. Creator of \"The Ring of Fire\"- The Official Drink of Austin 2008/09. Currently in search of new mentors.
