As an Ambassador for Active Minds at UGA, I support campus-wide initiatives that promote mental health awareness and student well-being. I collaborate with university staff, student organizations, and community partners to plan engaging events such as Puppies + Pizza on Tate Lawn, charity fundraisers, and awareness drives. In addition to short-term programming, I contribute to a long-term project through the Mental Health Advocacy Institute, working to implement sustainable mental health initiatives across campus. This role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and event-planning skills while allowing me to advocate for a more open and supportive dialogue around mental health.
