At LogicMonitor, my focus is on leading the DevOps Observability On-Call Experience team, steering us towards enhanced operational posture and robust monitoring solutions. Our collective efforts have significantly improved the on-call experience by minimizing false alarms, thereby ensuring superior uptime for our customers.My technical toolkit, sharpened over my tenure at LogicMonitor and previously at Oracle, encompasses Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, and Grafana. These tools have been pivotal in developing and maintaining the automation and monitoring required for a seamless SaaS service. Led the DevOps Observability On-Call Experience team, overseeing on-call rotation handoffs, root cause analysis of service disruptions, runbook and documentation improvements, and tracking follow-up action items in Jira- Enhanced operational efficiency for LogicMonitor self-monitoring by reducing false alarms, improving on-call reliability, and increasing true alarms to support customer uptime and satisfaction- Designed and implemented automation and tools for the LogicMonitor SaaS monitoring service hosted in AWS, utilizing Terraform (EC2, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache), Puppet, Ansible (CentOS, Amazon Linux), and Helm (Kubernetes)- Contributed to the FedRAMP compliance initiative by updating Ansible code to support Amazon Linux 2023 for FIPS compliance.
