About Ross Cushing

I’m an audiologist and the CEO of Live Better Hearing + Balance. At the core of everything we do is a simple idea: if we take care of our people, they’ll take great care of our patients. I’ve been in this field for nearly 20 years, and I’ve seen firsthand how a strong, supportive culture leads to better care, better outcomes, and a team that’s proud of the work we do.We have clinics across the Mid-Atlantic, and my focus is on making sure our providers and staff feel valued and equipped to do life-changing work. That means investing in training, creating space for growth, and building a place where people want to come to work every day.Outside the clinic, I serve on the board of the Live Better Foundation, which helps bring hearing care to people who wouldn’t otherwise have access. I also provide contract audiology services through Hearing Consultants for the state of Maryland in correctional facilities. I also serve as a member of the Forbes Health Advisory Board, sharing insights from audiology to support public health content and broaden awareness of hearing health.At the end of the day, my job is about creating opportunities…for patients to hear their loved ones again, for employees to grow into their potential, and for our clinics to have a real impact in their communities. I’m grateful to have a job I love and to have amazing people to work with.
