About Ross Parker

Three decades of creating user-centered and culturally-relevant learning and community environments have fostered my passion and expertise in experiential design processes and outcomes. I believe in the power of design to shape our experiences, our behaviors, and our impacts to our natural environment - and that empathy is a critical skill to be applied and inspired through all aspects of design. I believe meaningful design starts with centering the user’s needs - physiological, ergonomic, intellectual, pedagogical, cultural, and social-emotional - to create healthy and sustainable connections and interactions with people and nature.I am a proud champion of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, which impacts my design of places, spaces, and interactions.I bring the mindset of a well-rounded architect with highly diverse experience to all aspects of my projects - from the client-facing to design, technical, and managerial.
