Experience

  1. Senior Director, Preclinical and Translational Sciences

    Menarini Stemline

Jan 2021 — Present · New York, NY, US

In my current role, I identify, negotiate, contract and manage CROs and academic alliances to carry out research in the field of cancer immunotherapy and autoimmunity. I work in both the preclinical and translational spaces, engaging with CROs and academic research institutes to carry out research. I have developed and validated PK, ADA and immunoassays to monitor patient responses to therapy. Currently, in the glioblastoma space, I’m assessing options to model newly diagnosed glioblastoma with tumor spheroids and humanized mouse models to help advance our understanding of a peptide vaccine and the role of checkpoint inhibition before initiating a clinical trial. I am additionally developing a complementary diagnostic (CDx) to accompany a future BLA application. I have experience drafting and editing regulatory paperwork associated with IND, BLA and MAA applications, and contribute to clinical trial design and clinical protocol finalization. I have presented my work nationally and internationally at various oncology and rheumatology conferences including ASCO, ASH, EHA, ESMO, SNO, AACR, ACR and EULAR.
