ABOUT ROSS GRAY

I am currently working as a Partner with Fairhurst Edinburgh, United Kingdom. I have over 30 years post graduate experience in the delivery of roadworks projects ranging in size from major trunk road schemes to smaller scale infrastructure developments in the UK and Ireland.I have extensive knowledge of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works and drainage design and the implementation of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS);My technical experience expands all stages from feasibility and planning through the detailed design to the preparation of contract documentation and construction supervision. I am currently responsible for a core staff of approximately 50 Engineers, Graduates and Technicians based both in Edinburgh and Glasgow.My management role includes project management, resource management, financial control, Client liaison and the marketing of the business. I have developed excellent Client relationships over the years allowing smooth delivery of projects.I have excellent all round multi-disciplined knowledge which has provided me with the key skills required to direct and motivate individuals and design teams under my direction to provide a quality service and product that meets the Clients requirements.
