About Ross Dexter

I graduated in 2006 from Southern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education, a Master’s Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2010, a Master\'s of Science in Athletic Training and Doctor of Athletic Training in 2017 and 2019 respectively, both from the University of Idaho. As an avid runner, cross country skier, and kettlebell enthusiast, my interest in sports performance is driven by my experience in high-performance athletics as a cross country and track and field athlete and coach. Since 2006 I have worked in a variety of arenas including youth and secondary school athletics, as well as with athletes at The University of British Columbia, Florida State University, University of California Berkeley, St. Mary\'s College of California, University of Idaho, the University of Washington, and Southern Oregon University. My publications and research interests include strength and conditioning and injury risk mitigation, the application of movement-based neuromuscular intervention strategies, and the use of manual therapy in the treatment of acute and chronic pain and injury.
