Most high-risk, multi-site organisations still run safety and operational risk across a mix of legacy systems, spreadsheets, and site-by-site processes. It works until it doesn\'t. then what? The gaps usually show up when you need cross-site visibility, confidence in controls, or you are trying to stop repeat events. I work with EHS, Operations, Process Safety, Risk and IT leaders to make that picture clearer and more consistent. The starting point is normally a few practical questions: Where does risk actually sit day to day across permits, isolations, contractors, change, and assets?What is hardest right now. Visibility, standardisation, assurance, or speed of work?What would \"better\" look like in six to twelve months, in terms your leadership would accept? Where I tend to get involved: Control of Work Permit to Work, LOTO, SIMOPS, contractors. Move the process out of paperwork and local workarounds, so planning and execution are safer, faster, and easier to assure. Process Safety and operational risk PHA through to live barriers. Connect risk studies to day-to-day control management, so barrier ownership is clear and drift is visible early. EHS and ESG Incidents, audits, actions, reporting. Reduce time spent reconciling numbers and chasing actions, and improve the quality and defensibility of reporting. I work at Wolters Kluwer Enablon.
