ABOUT ROSS CLARK

I have spent 1 year working in Research, Development and Qualification of Composite materials as an integral part of my University course in Aerospace Engineering. During this time I developed new testing methods and practices that improved the efficiency of the work conducted. After I graduated from university I went straight to QinetiQ where I have been working since Sept-2009. Here I have completed research, development, testing and reporting roles within the Aerospace / Defence Domain. This includes working on multiple different aircraft platforms. While fulfilling both of these roles I have proven to be a focused and time driven individual who pulls apart a complex problem to find all logical and rational solutions. I also have the ability to be adaptive in a team environment, bring the best out of its members.I then spent 2 years working as a Graduate Engineer at GE Aviation to aid my route to Chartership. My primary role over the last year had been in Verification & Validation, working on various projects to allow First Flight for the next generation of a composite winged civilian airliner. My roles at Marshall ADG have mainly been as a Special Missions design engineer, working on design and integration of special mission equipment to a variety of airframes. Part of this role has seen me working directly with fitters and technicians on the shop floor modifying and adapting design issues on the fly.More recently I have been leading the integration team within the Military Aerospace department as well developing research and development activities for new product integration and Exovent negative pressure ventilation systems.
