I am a Partner and Solicitor Advocate in the Disputes and Regulatory team at Onside Law. My focus is on regulatory disputes in sport through acting for governing bodies, sports teams and individuals across various areas including anti-corruption, anti-doping, disciplinary, safeguarding, investigations and selection disputes. I regularly undertake the advocacy for my clients in their disputes. The Legal 500 ranks me as a \"Rising Star\".Highlights include:1. Acting for Jannik Sinner, the multiple grand slam winning tennis player, in his high-profile anti-doping proceedings, including the appeal of the World Anti-Doping Agency to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.2. Advising World Rugby on over 20 anti-doping proceedings, including successfully defending appeals at the CAS.3. Acting for the England and Wales Cricket Board/the Cricket Regulator in relation to several regulatory investigations involving racism in cricket, its anti-doping caseload before the National Anti-Doping Panel, safeguarding proceedings before the National Safeguarding Panel and various disciplinary proceedings against international cricketers.4. Advising the International Tennis Integrity Agency on over 70 proceedings under the Tennis Anti-Corruption Program, including successfully before the CAS on several occasions.5. Acting for INEOS Grenadiers in relation to several anti-doping matters arising out of investigations of UK Anti-Doping and the General Medical Council as well as successfully defending UCI disciplinary proceedings involving one of its riders.6. Various governing bodies, clubs and individuals in proceedings before the NSP and related safeguarding investigations, including the Sheldon Report into allegations of child abuse in football.7. Acting for the British Horseracing Authority regarding an independent investigation into the buying and selling practices of bloodstock.8. Advising two Olympic athletes in their appeal of their non-selection for the Olympic Games.
