About Roslyne Shiao
Roslyne Shiao is a second-generation Chinese American nonprofit leader and community advocate, with a deep belief in the transformative power of representation. After a successful career in corporate marketing and fashion e-commerce, Roslyne pivoted to nonprofit leadership to help build greater visibility, belonging, and understanding for Asian American and Pacific Islander communities. As a founding Board Member and Co-Executive Director of AAPI New Jersey, she leads initiatives that empower educators, challenge harmful stereotypes, and elevate AAPI voices — including the Teach Asian American Stories program supporting the implementation of New Jersey’s historic AAPI Curriculum Mandate.
