As the Chief Global Equity Officer at Abt Associates, a global leader in research, evaluation, and program implementation, I lead the development and execution of the company\'s strategy to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion across its global operations and impact areas. I have more than 30 years experience and engagement in health equity, public policy, social justice, and advocacy and bring a wealth of intersectional knowledge and expertise to this role. I’m passionate about improving the lives and economic well-being of historically marginalized and underrepresented communities. My core competencies and super powers include strategic policy analysis, coalition building, stakeholder influence and engagement, non-profit and corporate board governance, public affairs, reputation management, and risk mitigation. I currently serve as Chairman Emeritus for the NAACP, National Board of Directors and Trustee at the George Washington University and the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition.(USGLC).
