ABOUT ROSINE PYBUS
I’m motivated by work that genuinely improves people’s day-to-day lives, especially where barriers like disability, digital exclusion or lack of access risk people being left behind. With over a decade of experience in the third sector, I’ve supported children, families and adults through inclusive, practical and person-centred services, particularly within sight loss and disability-focused organisations. Most recently, I’ve worked as an Operations Support Coordinator at Guide Dogs, a role that strengthened my organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills and gave me valuable insight into how strong systems and processes enable better frontline services. I will be concluding this role at the end of the month.I’m excited to be returning to direct, preventative support in my new role as a Digital Inclusion and Community Support Caseworker at Middlesbrough Council. What draws me to this work is the opportunity to sit alongside people, understand what matters to them, and help remove practical barriers - whether that’s accessing digital services, navigating welfare and financial support, or staying connected to their community and home.Previously, I worked as an Advice Service Adviser at RNIB and in service delivery roles at Action for Blind People, supporting families and children affected by sight loss through tailored advice, assistive technology guidance, emotional support and advocacy. Across my career, I’ve been recognised nationally for my contribution to inclusive programmes that prioritise dignity, choice and empowerment.I care deeply about inclusive services, strong partnerships and solutions that work in real life - and I’m proud to be returning to a role where I can support people at the point it matters most.
