I am a scientific manager in the Knowledge Integration team at the Met Office and am seconded into the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. The aim of my role is to understand what climate information government need to help inform policy and then work with Met Office scientists and partners to deliver this information to them.

ABOUT ROSIE OAKES
International Applied Climate Scientist at the Met Office with a background in earth and ocean sciences. I work with people around the world to understand their climate information needs and make the outputs from Met Office climate models understandable and accessible to them. The aim is to help them make climate-informed decisions. I am passionate about science communication to people of all ages, from visits to schools to reaching a broader audience as co-host of the Met Office Mostly Climate podcast.
